Water Fun

Feel the need to be in or on the water? Here are some suggestions:

  • Hikes within the Parc d'environnement naturel de Sutton. Take a picnic and dabble your feet in the river or mountain lakes that you will find on  these hiking trails :

    Village-Mountain 6.4 km one way, approx. 2 hours, easy hike Village on Maple
    Lake Spruce 4.4 kms. round trip, approx. 1hour 45 minutes Start point : 520m  trailhead
    Lake Mohawk 8 kms. round trip, approx. 4 hours Start point : 520m trailhead
    A 5$ day pass is required for access; available from Sutton Visitor Information Office in the village,  the Welcome Booth at Alt 520m Mont or at many of our lodgings.

 

  • Canoe or Kayak.  Full or half day trips available on the calm water of the Missisquoi River; see Sutton Canoe, Kayak page for more details.

  • Swimming pool at your lodging.  Look at the Where to stay in Sutton page to see which  of our Sutton B&Bs, inns and hotels have an indoor or outdoor swimming pool for their guests' use.

  • Sutton outdoor municipal  swimming pool. Municipal Park, Western Road (Qc) J0E 2K0. Open daily in summer  from 1.30 p.m to 7.30 p.m accept on Tuesdays and Thursdays when the pool is open from 1.30 pm to 6.30 pm.   Adults only swimming Tuesdays and Thursdays 6.30 p.m. to 7.30 p.m.
