Sutton makes a great base for cycling and cyclists.

Want to stop for lunch or shop after your tour, NEW now Satya Yoga Sutton and the Gym Sports Sutton are offering shower services.  Satya Yoga Saturday and Sunday from 2pm to 5pm, $5.  Gym Sports Sutton, Monday to Friday 7am to 8pm and Saturday and Sunday 9am to 12pm, $5.

  • The Monts Sutton Massif circuit - 71.5 km. Starts at the Sutton Visitor Information Office on rue Principale South. Circles the Monts Sutton massif via Dunkin, Highwater, Mansonville, South Bolton and Lac Brome.
  • The Little Scenic circuit - 22 km. Starts at the Sutton Visitor Information Office on rue Principale South. Circles back to Sutton via Abercorn.
  • Rural circuit - 33 km. Links 10 sites in Sutton and Abercorn including important historical buildings such as the McClarty homestead built in 1842 by Irish pioneers. Take the time to stop at the interpretive panels and the numerous panoramic viewpoints.
  • Jay Peak circuit - 95km. A real challenge for the enthusiast. Leave from Sutton, cross the American* border at Richford and enjoy 1700m of climbing, 5 mountain passes, great descents and some amazing scenery.

Coupe des Ameriques

The North American Roadmasters Championship is an important cycling event held annually in Sutton in either late June or early July. Its a great event to watch or if you want to compete visit the web site : www.coupedesameriques.com

Broken down, tired or don't want to retrace your route? The "bike taxi" is available along designated bike trails, every single day, around the clock. Just call and a taxi will come to pick you up within the hour. The vehicles can carry four cyclists and their bikes.
